Gameweek 27 + Website Updates!
Welcome to The Matchday Diget, here is everything you need for Gameweek 27! (A quick turnaround on this one!)

As you’d expect Chelsea are predicted to score the most goals this gameweek with 2.44 being projected versus what could become the worst team in Premier League history Southampton.
Manchester United is projected to score just 1.78 goals against a weak Ipswich side, which shows how poorly the model currently rates their attack. However, I think it’s too much to say this is considered a relegation 6-pointer, right?
The biggest game of the midweek, though, is most likely Nottingham Forest vs. Arsenal. The model expects Arsenal to score slightly more than Forest, who have been very leaky at the back and are just coming off conceding four against Newcastle.
This is the lowest home advantage season only beaten by the COVID season where there were no fans attending games and this is starting to show in the model with Bournemouth favourites vs Brighton.

Now straight on to the model everyone knows, these % come straight from the 10,000 Premier League model which is seen on TikTok. Therefore any results that go against the model, think Wolves beating Fulham could have big affects on teams European chances.
However, the model projects two very 50/50 games between Brighton and Bournemouth as well as Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa.
A loss for Bournemouth would see their European chances fall while Aston Villa could be getting into form as they look to capitalise of beating Chelsea at the weekend.

After Arsenal’s loss to West Ham, Liverpool now sits at 98.3% likely to win the Premier League title, this is the highest it has been all season. With Both Man City and Forest not seen once in 10,000 simulations winning the league.

Wolves picking up 3 points while all 3 promoted sides lost again means that the relegation battle now looks somewhat over, with it now around 96% likely that all three promoted sides will go right back down to the championship.
Looking ahead

Another double gameweek is on the horizon now in Gameweek 32 as Newcastle plays Crystal Palace.
Wolves still have the easiest next 6 gameweeks on paper while Fulham have the hardest with a back-to-back of Arsenal and Liverpool coming in 30 and 31.
