FusionSim Updates Pt.3
Welcome to The Matchday Digest! Today is another part of FusionSim updates and this one I’m really excited to show.

The ‘Generator’ is a new page on the tools page which, as the sub-heading says, allows you to run your own custom season simulations, with adjustable team strengths, fixtures and variables!

Here is a little more of how it works, and yes, you’ll be able to save your full simulations so you can come back to them if you get a really rare scenario.

By default, you can use the real results and the generator will only simulate the unplayed games. However, if you want, you can even unlock the played games and change the scores so you can fully customise the simulation. Of course, you can also set future scores too!

You can even customise each team’s strength used in the simulation so if you think we rate a team too high or too low or you just want to give your team abit of a boost you can!
The team’s ratings you give are for the start of the season and range from 0, which is the worst team on paper in the league, to 100 which is the best.

Finally, you can set the variables like the goal frequency, draw likelihood and the predictability all to make your simulation truly unique.
If you use all the recommended settings, you use all the values FusionSim uses for its models too! (It is running V1 model though, we currently run V3!)

You can get some additional information like the total goals and draws, so you can see how realistic the simulation is and save it with a custom name.

And don’t worry, every single score of a game generated will be here for you to see too!
I am aiming for FusionSim to be out before the start of the football season and now we have all the EFL fixtures, I can get those models ready to be on the site!
