Fusion Sim World Cup 2026

With the World Cup less than one month away, it means time for the 2026 model to be fully revealed, a new rating system, new tools, and deeper analysis than anything else out there, from being able to rewrite history to seeing exactly what England needs to win the 2026 World Cup.

This is currently the number of different tools and pages you’ll be able to explore come the full release of the 2026 World Cup mode. Many of these are brand new attempts at tools and systems, which I hope everyone will try and give some feedback so I can improve on them before the best ones are implemented for the 2026-27 seasons.

The release of this update will, for the first time, also feature my first-ever public-facing rating system called ‘PRISM’ which has the goal to build a universal FusionSim rating that can compare teams, nations and eras across every sport I go onto cover, turning complex model signals into one simple strength score. There is a fun tool which lets you see who PRISM prefers to FIFAs ranking system too.

Also, there is a page showing the Model Metrics for the first time, so you can see how good the model is from a data perspective.

Finally, you might have noticed how to get to this if you’ve been on FusionSim lately; more on this coming soon.

Thanks to all for all the support, and I have been working alot in the background to lay the groundwork for some awesome future projects. We are just getting started…
